Project Timeline and Planning Process
The project evolved from an urban planning concept aimed at transforming a former barracks site into high-quality residential space. The initial focus was on developing a concept that was both economically viable and architecturally striking. As the project progressed, the design, permitting, and construction planning were coordinated iteratively with specialist planners and the developer. Particular attention was paid to the detailing of the solid-structure construction, energy efficiency, and the implementation of sophisticated apartment floor plans through to construction supervision.
Collaboration and Project Coordination
The project was characterized by close interdisciplinary collaboration between architects, structural engineers, specialist engineers, and contractors. In addition to traditional planning and coordination tasks, the focus was on coordinating structural details, managing interfaces, and ensuring quality control. By combining in-depth planning with on-site supervision, we were able to ensure consistent execution from design through to completion.
Key Project Focus Areas
The focus was on combining cost-effectiveness with high-quality housing construction, implementing energy-efficient standards, and developing a distinctive residential complex with a significant urban impact.
