Project Overview
A modern apartment building with four residential units was constructed in Wilchingen, Switzerland, for SWISS Designhaus GmbH. The project involved comprehensive responsibility from planning through to completion and presented unique requirements for integrating architecture, structural engineering, and MEP services within a timber-frame construction.
The goal was to develop an economical, technically sophisticated and sustainably feasible residential concept using modern planning methods and efficient construction processes.

Project Timeline
The project was implemented as an integrated master plan in which all disciplines were closely coordinated from the start. The focus was on developing a seamless planning process, from the initial design through detailed and construction planning to execution.
The MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) systems were specifically integrated into the timber structure, with particular emphasis on coordinating the routing of pipes and cables, technical components, and structural requirements.
In parallel, 3D model-based planning (BIM-oriented) was carried out, resulting in improved coordination between planning, production, and installation.
During the implementation phase, production, delivery, and installation were managed, and construction management and site coordination—including all disciplines—were ensured. Additionally, cost, schedule, and contract management were actively managed to ensure a smooth project workflow.

Through the use of BIM-based methods and comprehensive project management, a cost-effective and technically optimized building was realized—offering clear advantages in terms of coordination, quality, and reliability of execution.
