b-solution GmbH / Binderholz Group (2022–2023)
Head of the BIM, Digitalization, and Process Management Department & Co-Development of Modular Apartment Buildings

Project Overview
While working at the Binderholz Group (b-solution GmbH), we set up and led the BIM, Digitalization, and Process Management department.
The goal was to develop a comprehensive digital system landscape and to implement BIM methodology across planning, production, and assembly. In parallel, we contributed to the development of a modular, scalable building system for apartment buildings—as a foundation for serial and industrial construction.
Project Details
- Client / Company: b-solution GmbH / Binderholz Group
- Role: Head of BIM, Digitalization, and Process Management
- Period: 2022 – present
Project Context: Timber construction, serial construction, digitalization, software development - Project Budget: > €28 million (digitalization and development programs)

Project Timeline
The first step involved establishing a new departmental structure, including the definition of roles, processes, and digital standards. Building on this foundation, the BIM methodology was introduced and further developed for both internal projects and external services.
A key component was the development of a modular system for apartment buildings, in which architecture, structural engineering, and MEP were planned in an integrated manner and standardized. The goal was to create repeatable and scalable solutions that could be efficiently implemented in both planning and production.
In parallel, digital systems and platforms were developed, including the company’s own project management and BIM platform, as well as the integration of various software solutions (CAD, ERP, production systems).
A particular focus was placed on the integration of planning and industrial manufacturing, including the integration of production data, interface management, and process automation.
