BIM Agile was founded on a clear vision: bridging the gap between Building Information Modeling (BIM), engineering, and modern IT. As the industry evolved, it became evident that while BIM was becoming standard, the integration with flexible IT solutions and seamless collaboration across disciplines was still missing.

The foundation of BIM Agile traces back to 2021, when Marcel Lang and Tomasz Krawczyk met during the opening of Żory’s first padel tennis court, developed by PASO XL. What began as a shared entrepreneurial mindset quickly evolved into a long-term collaboration. Soon after, Ziad Al-Kassar joined, adding strong architectural and engineering expertise and connecting digital innovation with practical project execution.

Tomasz, based in Poland, is an experienced IT entrepreneur (PASO XL, Run By IT), specializing in custom software and scalable solutions. Marcel, based in Germany, brings over a decade of BIM and digital construction expertise, with a focus on implementation, CDE integration, and digital transformation. Ziad contributes international architectural excellence and interdisciplinary coordination, ensuring buildable, high-quality outcomes.

Recognizing a critical market gap, BIM Agile was officially founded in 2025 to combine BIM expertise, engineering know-how, and agile IT development into one integrated approach.

A key milestone followed the same year with the strategic partnership with Kastner Engineering in Munich and architect Ziad Al-Kassar, bringing over 40 years of architectural experience. Together with Run By IT, this led to the formation of BIM Agile Engineering GmbH—an umbrella organization uniting architecture, engineering, and digitalization.

Today, BIM Agile Engineering delivers end-to-end services across the entire lifecycle—from early concept (Phase 0) through planning and execution (HOAI phases 1–8) to operation and facility management—ensuring seamless data flow, efficiency, and long-term value.

Through targeted networking, active engagement in industry associations—including buildingSMART at both national and international levels—and the continuous expansion of our own connections, a robust international network and strong strategic partnerships have been established.

BIM Agile operates via BIM Agile UG in the DACH region and Run By IT in Poland, with a clear trajectory toward international expansion and leadership in digital construction.
