The idea for BIM Agile was born years ago when two creative and forward-thinking minds crossed paths, united by a shared vision: bridging the gap between Building Information Modeling (BIM) and modern IT solutions. As the BIM industry rapidly evolved, it became increasingly clear that there was a growing demand for tailored software development and expert IT support. That’s where BIM Agile comes in.

The journey began in 2021, when Marcel Lang and Tomasz Krawczyk met at the opening of Żory’s first padel tennis court, developed by Tomasz’s company PASO XL Sp. z o.o.. A shared entrepreneurial spirit sparked an immediate connection, leading not only to a long-term friendship but to a powerful professional collaboration.

Tomasz from Poland, a seasoned IT developer, had already founded PASO XL in 2020—specializing in the design and distribution of padel courts—and later established Run By IT Sp. z o.o. in 2022, providing custom IT solutions. Marcel, based in Germany, brings over a decade of hands-on experience in BIM and IT. Since 2015, when the German Federal Ministry for Digital Infrastructure officially embraced BIM, he has been deeply engaged in implementing BIM solutions, leading complex CDE integrations, and delivering tailored digital strategies across the construction sector.

Together, they identified a key market gap: BIM needed agile, customized IT development. That insight laid the foundation for BIM Agile in 2025 —a company that fuses the best of both worlds.

Marcel and Tomasz began attending leading industry events such as BIM World (Munich and Paris), buildingSMART conferences, and other major construction tech expos across Europe. Along the way, they built a strong network of partners and forged strategic collaborations, especially in the software sector, helping establish BIM Agile’s presence and credibility.

Today, BIM Agile operates through BIM Agile UG in the DACH region and Run by IT Sp. z o.o. in Poland. Our ambition doesn’t stop there—we are continuously expanding, with a clear vision of becoming a global player in the digital construction space.
